Vijana Africa works with communities worldwide to tackle the pressing issues surrounding conflict minerals in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). We focus on advocacy, measuring social impact, civilian protection, and community engagement to foster ethical mining practices, improve local livelihoods, and protect human rights.
Tech Peace for Congo is a global campaign that turns everyday tech purchases into steady support for the people and places where critical minerals are mined. We invite tech and EV companies to add a small per-product pledge that funds mobile schooling for displaced children, women’s livelihoods, local peace efforts, and community oversight in Eastern DRC. Consumers can see who is participating and what is changing on the ground through our public Impact Atlas and quarterly Impact Ledger. This is not a mineral certification or a marketing badge; it is a practical, transparent way to reduce harm in supply chains and grow resilience in mining communities. One device at a time, we can help make innovation more ethical and ensure the benefits are more fairly shared.
