Meet Vijana AfricaThree pillars, four areas of work
Vijana Africa’s founding one-pager names four areas of work. Each connects to our three strategic pillars and to the programs below.
Through the Vijana Mobile School and community-based learning initiatives, we expand educational opportunities for children and young people affected by conflict, displacement, and limited access to digital resources.
Part of Education and Youth Development
We work with youth, faith leaders, educators, and communities to encourage dialogue, nonviolence, social cohesion, and locally led approaches to conflict transformation.
Part of Peacebuilding, Civilian Protection and Social Cohesion
We support the knowledge, skills, leadership, and community relationships that help young people pursue entrepreneurship, livelihoods, and economic resilience.
Part of Economic Empowerment and Community Resilience
We engage communities, institutions, researchers, and technology stakeholders in conversations and initiatives that promote responsible mineral supply chains, accountability, and greater benefits for Congolese communities.
Connects research, policy, and advocacy across all three pillars
Systemic change begins with people.
